Following October this year, all provinces have realized the mutual assistance of employees' medical insurance individual accounts within the province, and as of December 9, all provinces have expanded the scope of mutual assistance from "spouses, parents, children" to "spouses, parents, children, brothers and sisters, grandparents, maternal grandparents, grandchildren, grandchildren and grandchildren." The insured can bind their close relatives through online channels to realize the mutual assistance of employees' medical insurance personal accounts.

From the perspective of mutual assistance, 34.308 billion yuan will be used to cover the personal medical expenses incurred in designated medical institutions, 2.072 billion yuan will be used to cover the personal expenses incurred in designated retail pharmacies, and 7.48 billion yuan will be used to participate in the basic medical insurance for residents.

After entering the centralized payment period for residents' medical insurance in September, the individual payment amount of employees' medical insurance accounts for participating in residents' basic medical insurance in September, October and November reached 1.228 billion yuan, 2.751 billion yuan and 3.021 billion yuan respectively. Among them, from January to November, the amount of mutual insurance for residents in Hebei Province reached 830 million yuan, Henan Province 766 million yuan, Zhejiang Province 486 million yuan, Shandong Province 479 million yuan and Hunan Province 477 million yuan, ranking among the top five in the country; In addition, in Guizhou, Shaanxi, Shanxi and other provinces with a population of less than 50 million, the amount of mutual assistance for residents to participate in the insurance has also exceeded 300 million yuan.
